How Does the Home Performance Audit Process Work?
At Jesse Heating & Air Conditioning, every job starts with a free Home Energy Evaluation. During the evaluation, we use specialized tools like a blower door, infrared camera, and combustion fuel analyzer to identify problem areas in your home. This precise approach allows our professionals to correct issues effectively.
After the evaluation, we develop a work order with suggested upgrades for your home. We act as your partners to help you decide on the best upgrades for your unique situation and goals. After completing the work, we perform a second Home Energy Evaluation to show the efficiency improvements. We also test all gas appliances to ensure home safety.
Home Performance Incentives
Jesse Heating & Air Conditioning is an Ameren Illinois ActOnEnergy Registered Program Ally. Available incentives include Air Sealing, Attic Insulation, Wall Insulation, Duct Sealing, Programmable Thermostats, Furnaces, and Air Conditioners. Jesse Heating & Air Conditioning collects the incentive money directly from Ameren Illinois so that you do not have to fill out any additional paperwork.
On average, Ameren Illinois pays for 30% – 40% of a typical Whole Home Performance Job. In order to qualify, a customer must heat their home with an Ameren Illinois Fuel. All proposed incentives will be listed on the work order so you know upfront how much you can expect to have covered. Our Energy Auditors are equipped with Blower Doors, Infrared Cameras and all other tools to perform a complete whole home diagnostic.
